What does BBS charge? You will be provided with a cost estimate prior to any engagement with BBS. You can choose to be billed by the project, by the hour or on a retainer. A minimum of 10 hours/month is required for a retainer, but a discount is applied to the hourly rate. Unused retainer hours are carried forward; excess hours are charged at the end of the month. How long does it take to do a business plan? BBS uses an 8 step process which typically spans 1 week per step. The pace can be adjusted to fit your schedule. Can BBS help me get financing? BBS can help you prepare the documents to get financing and accompany you to financing meetings to answer questions and provide additional information as required. |

Yes, your business is unique. Business principles and tools, however, are applicable across industries. You will provide the knowledge specific to your business and industry. BBS will provide the guidance, tools and solutions to help you succeed. How will I find the time? You will need to find a balance between cost and time. If improving your business performance and profit is a priority, you will find the time. You may have to delegate, outsource or postpone some activities in the short term. How can I afford this? The money you spend now is an investment in your future profitability. Your benefits will exceed your cost. BBS’s rates are very reasonable and the work can be spread out to accommodate your budget as well as your time. You can control billable hours – the more you do, the less BBS does. What do I need to do to get ready to work with BBS? Complete the online form for your free initial consultation with BBS and be prepared to discuss your business issues, goals and vision for the future. How long will I need a consultant? Will I be hiring BBS indefinitely? BBS is available to work with you as long as necessary. The goal of BBS, however, is to make you self sufficient by educating you on the business principles, tools and methodologies to run your business effectively. Is my information confidential? Yes, all the information you provide will be held in the strictest confidence. If you choose to work with BBS, you will be protected by a confidentiality agreement. Additionally, your privacy is very important to BBS. BBS does not give, sell, trade or in any way provide your name, address or other personal information to any third party, unless requested by a proper legal or law enforcement jurisdictional agency.
