Ms. Jan Skibinski is the owner of BBS – Building Business Success.

Ms. Jan Skibinski is the owner of BBS – Building Business Success, a firm specializing in assisting and educating business owners on how to make running a business easier, less time consuming and more profitable.  She also guides business owners through growth and profit management challenges. Ms. Skibinski is a former member of the senior management team for Shamrock Foods Company – Denver Division, a leading national foodservice distributor, where she worked for 8 years. She managed numerous departments in Information Systems, Finance, Contracts, Customer and Sales Support. She became known as “The Fixer” - turning struggling departments into top performers within the organization. Her focus has always been to empower people to optimize processes and performance. Ms Skibinski led numerous system implementation and enhancement projects, in addition to, business expansion projects. She was also responsible for the creation of automated tools to perform complex analysis & financial projections. Ms Skibinski is also a former manager of COBE Cardiovascular – a Division of Gambro, a leading medical device manufacturer in Arvada, Colorado where she worked for 13 years. She started her career in Finance and Accounting. Her management roles included Finance and Contracts. Her focus and track record demonstrate her superior ability to drive process improvement, cost reduction and increased efficiency through automation and analytics. She was also the business project manager for the development and implementation of an Oracle business system.

Ms. Skibinski has bachelor’s degrees from the University of Montana in Finance and Economics where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.  She has since earned certificates in Six Sigma, Lean, Deming, Activity Based Cost Accounting, Microsoft’s Solutions Development Discipline, Modern Financial Analysis & Modeling, and Microsoft’s applications.
